IMPORT/EXPORT THROUGH DROPBOX

Metagrid now supports importing/exporting buttons/views/viewsets and the entire database through your Dropbox account. You can easily share your custom Metagrid content and import the presets created by other Metagrid users.

DORICO INTEGRATION

Metagrid 1.5 is now integrated with Dorico - the next generation music notation software. The integration includes over 400 dedicated icons, comprehensive set of app specific commands available directly on your iPad and the dedicated multi-view workspace created by the Metasystem team that can be downloaded from our user forum.

OVER 1400 NEW ICONS

Metagrid 1.5 comes with the new set of icons grouped in logical categories listed the redesigned Icon Selector screen. Apart from general computing graphics, the new set includes over 400 dedicated Dorico music notation icons based on the Bravura font.

ABLETON LIVE INTEGRATION

Metagrid comes with the advanced Ableton Live support through the dedicated control surface device that needs to be installed in Live. The device gives you access many useful commands and macros for volume, pan, transport and scene control.

OmniSpace

Metagrid now offers a dedicated viewset that doesn’t react to changing app in focus on your computer and can be displayed regardless of the application that is currently in focus on your computer. To access the Omni Space viewset, press the Omni Space button (the second button on the left on the Scene Bar). Omni Space is a useful tool to create a universal workspace for system-wide commands like app switching, opening files or commands that you want to have available in all applications.

Smart Application Lock

Metagrid now enables you lock the viewset and block app switching for all apps - not only the apps with dedicated app-specific commands. Now you can basically lock any app and trigger commands even if it is in the background. To lock the app, double tap the app icon on the navigation bar or swipe down with two fingers on the commands grid.

Manual Connection

You can now use the manual setup option to connect your computer and iPad on the same WiFi network. This functionality is very useful when your computer is not detected automatically.
You can manually enter the IP address of your computer or scan the QR code generated by our Metaserver application (Metaserver > Setup > Network).

UACC Support

Now Metagrid features a UACC action that enables the user to add a preassigned command that will trigger a specific articulation in Spitfire Audio instruments. The names of the articulations and respective commands are based on Spitfire Audio’s specs available on-line.
